Marena De Jesus

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Florida, Marena De Jesus is a bilingual healthcare professional fluent in both English and Spanish. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida while working as an intensive care nurse, demonstrating an early dedication to patient care and clinical excellence.

Driven by a passion for advancing her expertise, Marena continued her education at South University, where she graduated summa cum laude earning her Master's of Nursing while working in trauma care. It was during this time that her passion for wound care and helping patients heal truly evolved.

With nearly a decade of experience as an advanced practice provider, Marena has had the privilege of serving patients across various healthcare settings, including acute care, rehabilitation, community health, and in-home care while also getting certified in wound care. Her diverse clinical background has shaped her compassionate, patient-centered approach and strengthened her commitment to improving outcomes and quality of life for those she serves.

Outside of her professional life, Marena enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, spoiling her fur babies, and traveling the world. She is deeply passionate about helping patients achieve their optimal health and is excited to be part of New Dawn Wound Care
